Texas FC is a soccer club founded in Leander, 2023 by Hani Al Rifai. Hani started the club in his passion to offer unrivaled diversity, equity and inclusion. This means that the club welcomes people from all backgrounds, ages, abilities and gender. This applies to both players and staff members. Levon Alshabi also played a significant role in co-launching Texas FC, through co-leading tryouts, driving recruitment for key players, and leading the club’s social media channels.
As we are a non-profit organization, our staff and players are currently volunteers. Hence we welcome all support we can get to operate the club so that we can continue to make a positive impact on our community.
However, we have ambitions plans to grow our business into a profitable one. We plan to have the following business units:
Our vision is to make it easy for anyone to play soccer - regardless of age, gender and ability. We believe in giving everyone an opportunity to be part of the club.
Our mission is to provide a professional and inclusive environment that utilizes the game of soccer to provide a path toward self-improvement, accountability, teamwork, selflessness and unity.
Whether you aspire to join us as a player, staff member or business partner, I look forward to meeting you.

Be true to yourself and follow your gut instincts. Always tell the truth and take ownership for your own matters.
Life is much more fun when you can tackle matters with a can-do attitude. For things that you don't have influence over (such as weather), don't stress about it. Where things don't go to plan, learn what you can do differently rather than regret.
It takes commitment to make positive and lasting changes. To deliver on these commitments, have a plan and put in the necessary structure to ensure you succeed. Be demanding of others to help you achieve goals.
Take a step back and continually assess situations, projects, relationships. Once you see the helicopter view, your next steps will be clear to help you reach your destination.
Things don't always go your way. Be creative about how you can continue find other solutions or leverage the resources around you. Explore all avenues. Maximize data and minimize risks prior to making decisions.
Even if all processes are automated, you still need to talk to people to get approvals and make decisions. Your ability to succeed at work and life depends on how strong your relationships are with the key stakeholders around you.
No one likes being spoken down to or treated differently. Treat everyone like they are your customers, as at the end of the day people will always remember how they make you feel. Also, don't forget to be kind to yourself.
Have the desire to do the best and be the best in everything you do. Apply this mindset irrelevant of the size of the task/challenge.
We've all experienced complicated diagrams, meetings, ideas, speeches. Clear, simple and concise communication requires less effort (and you will be asked less questions).
