Be true to yourself and follow your gut instincts. Always tell the truth and take ownership for your own matters.

Life is much more fun when you can tackle matters with a can-do attitude. For things that you don't have influence over (such as weather), don't stress about it. Where things don't go to plan, learn what you can do differently rather than regret.

It takes commitment to make positive and lasting changes. To deliver on these commitments, have a plan and put in the necessary structure to ensure you succeed. Be demanding of others to help you achieve goals.

Take a step back and continually assess situations, projects, relationships. Once you see the helicopter view, your next steps will be clear to help you reach your destination.

Things don't always go your way. Be creative about how you can continue find other solutions or leverage the resources around you. Explore all avenues. Maximize data and minimize risks prior to making decisions.

Even if all processes are automated, you still need to talk to people to get approvals and make decisions. Your ability to succeed at work and life depends on how strong your relationships are with the key stakeholders around you. 

No one likes being spoken down to or treated differently. Treat everyone like they are your customers, as at the end of the day people will always remember how they make you feel. Also, don't forget to be kind to yourself.

Have the desire to do the best and be the best in everything you do. Apply this mindset irrelevant of the size of the task/challenge.

We've all experienced complicated diagrams, meetings, ideas, speeches. Clear, simple and concise communication requires less effort (and you will be asked less questions).
